Well, we didn't exactly start out slowly last year (ask any New Mexico or Tennessee fan).

But Oregon's four losses in Kelly's tenure have all been to decent or better opponents, away from home, who all had at least two weeks to prepare for the Ducks:

@ Boise State (season opener)
@ Stanford (bye week)
vs Ohio St (Rose)
vs Auburn (BCS)

Only Stanford in 09 could be accused of having a below-average defense, and Luck and Gearhart just tore up our D in that game (didn't help that James had a bad case of can't-handle-the-pass).

We're all expecting the trend to be broken in the Jerrydome, but nobody could be blamed for thinking that having an excellent defense, with lots of preparation time, is a huge advantage against Oregon's offense. So this game scares the crap out of me.
