Is the MLB logo batter left handed or right handed?

I've alwyas viewed it as a lefty.
Plus, with the ball where it is, it annoys me that he is either taking the pitch or going to swing VERY late.

from the type of helmet, i always knew he was a switch-hitter (pete rose style)

For some reason I alsways thought it was modeled after Harmon Killebrew

The rumor at one time was that it was modeled after Harmon Killebrew (RIP), who was a righty.

How do you see that as left-handed?

The question, put another way, is is the batter facing us?
I always assumed yes. that would make him a lefty. jmo

Righty or lefty doesnt matter at all.... fricker has a good eye to lay off they high fastball

everyone in this thread should also post how they bat. i see it as a lefty, but i bat lefty in baseball.

It's a lefty cuz the ball is high. You pitch high to lefties cuz they are low ball hitters. Righties can crush a high fastball.
I lie.
I do think it's a lefty though.

It can be either a left handed batter or right handed...unless of course it is Killebrew.
