How are the levees looking south of BR? There's been water coming up from the center then draining across the northbound lane of River Road (hwy 327) at the horse farm for almost a week now.

Mr. Alrighty Then needs to become more informed on what his Government does for him:

From what I know they are holding up just fine. What you are talking about it backwater coming from the subsurface drainage. This is happening all over the place. I will make sure our District knows about the issue on LA 327 though.

I already received a response from our Assistant District Administrator:

"This is at Duncan Point right in front of Farr Park on River Road just south of Brightside. A section of seepage next to where the Corps is watching their stuff so the Corps is aware of it. Probably 20' long. I would recommend "Our Area Engineer" have someone check it daily."

So we're aware of it. Thanks for mentioning it though.
