Why is it allowed? The NBA is getting harder and harder to watch with it's strategic and selective referreeing.
Watch all the calls DWade will get for getting breathed on at home where defenders will literally stand still and not even flinch, yet have fouls are called.

If the NBA followed the rules, the games would last 3 1/2 hours, and you would see scores along the lines of 67-59
