Anyone want to guess the cheapest way to transport mogas?
But if river traffic is halted? Too many thing come into play.

As of now, a few places have barges lined up as "contingency barges."

It'll be a mess if/when they halt river traffic. VTC was in contact with us this morning to monitor traffic. They plan to close the Port Allen Route in the next day or so. Here is the current condition on most of the fleets in the area:
Bayou Fleet is currently at about half capacity and should have space for us. They plan to operate at about 75% capacity in order to have a little “wiggle room” for their regular customers.
St. John Fleet is OK with capacity for now. We will have to stand by our tow while in the fleet.
Carline Fleet has space for XXXXX as a customer in their Burnside Fleet. They are planning to shut down midstreaming in and out and night, but we ought to be able to get in and out as needed if we keep our tows on the outside of the fleet tiers. I asked their Dispatcher to keep reminding our guys to keep moved to the outside of tiers and do not let themselves get buried in the fleet. If things get “dicey”, they may want us to consolidate tows up in Geismar, and shut down Burnside, but will let us fleet, again, if we stay on our own tow.
Turn Services is really tight right now, but the ship is leaving later today and things should ease a little. They are going to want us to stay with our tows. It will be day to day as far as space.
McKinney in Baton Rouge will be day to day, as it always seems to be.
