No Morgan City should be fine, assuming there are no levee failures. There expecting approx. 7' of water on the Seawalls. The biggest concern is Lakeside subdvision because the levees there only 6' foot for the most part. The barge in the chene is expected to retard approx 60% of the flow which should keep the water within the perm. levees already in place. There are alot of wild rumors going on around in about the crops planning to blow up levees in the Stephensville area that have alot of people in a panic.

Also if anyone is interested St. Mary Parish O.E.P. has a facebook set up with a bunch of aerial pictures of the flooding so far.
