From the Van Pelt show today:

"Kendrick Perkins isn't doing anything in Oklahoma City"

I remember a SI players poll from like 4 years ago. "What player in the league thinks he has game when he really has none"

overwhelming answer was Kendrick Fricking Perkins

stuck with me for awhile now obviously

Amen. He was talking people in Boston complaining about him getting traded when he is producing squat in OKC.

That's because Kendrick Perkins is suffering from a broken heart. (sad music plays)

I'm not disagreeing with Barkley, but don't you guys think that there were a couple key possessions late in Game 4 between Boston/Miami where had Perkins been present Miami would not have scored?

The one that sticks out is the tip-in by Bosh.

What were people actually expecting out of perkins? he's an enforcer, rebounder, and a big body to stick in the middle of your defense. it's not like he was a star in boston.

No shite. The OP acts like he was 20/10 player in Boston.

The problem is he doesn't enforce anymore and rarely gets more than 5 or 6 rebounds.

he was the enforcer in boston because kg talked all that shite and perk had to stop people from beating his arse. there's no one to protect in okc they just play ball.

Barkley also said he would have kicked Russell Westbrook's arse in the locker room after the game if he played with him.

this was the far more interesting quote of the segment IMO. He said he was on teams where he actually told his teammates that if he didn't get the ball before one of them took a shot on every possession he'd kick their arse after the game.

If the media wouldn't have said Boston would have won the title last year with perk, he wouldn't get so much pub

Randolph is shooting 38% in that series.

Just a thought.

But he does have the meanest look in the NBA--bar none.

Dude always, and I mean always looks mad.
