Great job by the Bravos to take 2/3 in Philly. They are now 7-1 in May while outscoring opponents 40-16. Very impressive. Let's hope they can keep the bats rolling heading back home to face the Nats. Pitching matchups for the series are:

All games are at 6:05 Central Time

Today - Marquis (3-1, 3.66 ERA) vs Hudson (4-2, 2.86 ERA)

Tomorrow - Lannan (2-4, 5.09 ERA) vs Hanson (4-3, 2.63 ERA)

Thursday - Zimmerman (2-4, 4.10 ERA) vs Beachy (1-1, 2.98 ERA)

I like each one of our pitching matchups and think it is completely possible for us to pull the sweep, which would be nice with Philly waiting around for us again this weekend. Only problem is we have struggled against the Nats in recent years. Let's hope that changes this series.

Lineup for today's game is:

Prado
Heyward
Chip
Mac
Uggla
Freeman
McLouth
Hernandez

Let's do this shite

Little bit worried about AGon. Hope his hammy doesn't keep him out long.

I believe they are top by a decent margin. Let me look.

edit:

They lead the NL with a 2.85 ERA, followed by SD with 2.98, Philly with a 3.09, and Giants with a 3.28

Have you heard anything else about it besides him saying he was going to be alright after a day or two?

We should miss him since he's pitching today

We'll miss Lee as well which is very unfortunate

We may end up trading Minor for a bat at some point because Beachy isnt going anywhere and neither is Teheran. You gotta figure that we could get a quality bat for a young guy of his talent that isnt getting paid much.

Obviously a trade of some sort but I'm wodering what our weakest position is that we need to improve

Were set at almost every position

It probably depends on if Chipper retires after this year
