I would say yes.
Especially since that boat costs more than many OT McMansions
He probably has upwards of $300k in that rig. You could by a lightly used sportfisher for cheaper.

How long is he going to take to pay it off?
And if he is putting up that much money--should have gone Venture, Contender, Regulator, Freeman before going with Hydra Sport....but at least he didn't buy a Cape Horn

Not hating on them. He was trying to pull logs out that were way too big and it kept bogging down until it finally quit.

I guess you can do shite like that when you have cash to throw away

What a dumb purchae IMO. Why would anyone want to pay +$360k for a boat w/ only a 12ft beam?
Posted on 5/3/11 at 3:53 pm to Bama and Beer
damn that is bad arse, if i had the extra cash i'd love to have that, not very economical, but if you can afford it, why not

To each his own, but If I am paying over 300k for a boat is is going to be a helluva lot nicer than that. But if he likes it, can't say much about it.

How many ft is that boat? And yea I would have diffidently gone with a Pursuit, Jupiter, or even a Yellow Fin way before a Hydra Sport.
