Ruffino's has all the Orrin Swifts but I dont think they have the Mercury Head. Who knows with Ruffin though. I do believe he has some Burgess but also try the Swansons.
We are having Mothers Day brunch there so I'll look. If Ruffin doesn't have it he'll try to get it and he has a pretty good reach as well as a pretty good taste for them. He's an enthusiast and his prices aren't unreasonable by any means. He sent me a bottle in a brown paper bag to see if we could figure out what it was. On the house, just because he knows we appreciate it.
Jubans and Maison Lacour and Brandts have good lists but mostly French and I just don't know the regions well enough to drink them. I need to but California is hard to beat and I just havent gotten that far.
We had a function the other night and afterward a large group met at The Wine Loft in Perkins Rowe simply because it was close and we just wanted a glass. That was the worst wine list I've ever seen especially for a "Wine Loft" Amazing. Las Palmas has a better list.
We left and stopped in the bar at Ruffino's and had a Pappion.
Good luck and let me know what you find.
