Aluminum is perfectly fine to use.

Ok, thanks.

Bottle washers. I see there are 2 types. there is the typical type

and the double washer type with carboy adapter

Is either one more quality than the other?

Hard for me to chime in on that since I hardly bottle anymore just do it on occasion. I dont own any of that.. Just a bottle brush that came with my first kit and just rinse and scrub it. I dont think any of that is really necessary but maybe people that bottle more often love it... Dont know.

Couldn't tell you - never used one even when I bottled my beer. If you wash your bottle out reasonably soon after drinking the beer it rarely needs much extra washing. Even then you can soak the bottles in oxyclean overnight to loosen up any gunk that may have formed in/on them.

I have one of these but it is still sitting in the original packaging in my cabinet. If you do get one, make sure to get an adapter for your faucet. I wasn't thinking and then got too lazy after purchasing it.

On top of that, I don't have a dedicated sink and did not want to have to take the faucet tip off and put it back on every time I have to clean. Maybe you could leave the faucet tip off and just put this on and off when you please but that's not an option for me (wife likes things looking nice)

It may take a little longer but I bottle just fine without it. I need a drying

I'd get one of these over that:

Dries 45 bottles and bacteria and other wierd stuff have a harder time getting in your bottles since they're upside down.

$30 on Amazon

Many homebrew supply stores carry it also.
