Watching Golf Channel, and a bottom line scroll just said effective immediately, the USGA has eliminated the rule that DQs a player for signing an incorrect score card if the rule violation wasn't made aware to a player prior to his signing. Very interesting. Good rule change, IMO.

I like the rule change it keeps the Johnny Armchair Officials from calling in and reporting penalties. Its bush league.

Can you imagine if the NFL allowed fans to call in because they clearly saw pass interference that wasn't called?
