I don't see where he said that about the ability to run, but what is "pure passing ability"? Sorry if you find that question insulting, but simply having a better arm does not make someone a better QB. And seeing as none of us have been at all the practices and scrimmages, I don't see how anyone can say Meth is a better "pure passer" at this point in time. Some times people get better at things by doing them more often, that's called experience. Its not a negative. Some keep insisting that Miles only plays older players rather than the best players. That is simply not true. Who ever starts at QB will be the guy that has shown the coaches in practice that he is the best. If he were just going with Jefferson, then why didn't he flat out say, there is no QB competition, JJ is the starter, period.

I think he has alluded to this already. Read previous statements. JJ's "versatility" is something Miles values over the other QB's and give him an advantage.
