I really hope that this is the case, but I seriously doubt it. If nothing else, Miles is loyal to a fault. He will give Jefferson, and to a lesser extent Lee, every opportunity to start as QB.

In this mind, they've paid their dues and that alone entitles them to an advantage. Mett has 3 years to play and Miles is gonna make him wait his turn, unless something unforseen like injuries forces him to start Mett.

The thing that worries me is that unless the offense improves dramatically, Mett won't get any meaningful playing time because LSU will be forced to win close games down the stretch and the starting QB will stay in the game until the end.

exactly what he is saying, he will make us sit through another year of this BS like he did with the wasted year of the two DC's BS and the underachieving years of Crowton.
