Crazy game. Tulane had leads of 7-0 and 14-8. Benches cleared after a go-ahead HR by USM in the 8th. Tulane hit a tying HR in the 9th off the USM closer who hadnt given up a run all season (16.1 ip).

Just back from H'burg, both days the wind has been blowing out very hard. The pitching injuries keep coming for the Wave; Kyle McKenzie who was a mid-week guy forced into the weekend rotation when all 3 weekend guys went down had to leave after 2 1/3 today with tightness in the shoulder. Good thing USM's pitching is weak. Was a wild game today, tomorrow could be even wilder now that the tempers are up on both sides.

Damn thats crazy, I dont think Flynn was ever injured though. Broach is suppose to be back tomm I think. Also for anyone who didnt know, Tulane's prize freshman recruit Randy LeBlanc had to have Tommy John surgery.

Flynn hasn't been injured, but Broach, Byo and Leblanc were all weekend starters at one point and have been hurt.

Tulane just got 10 run ruled, 12-0 or something.

Still like 18-6 on the year and have very impressive OOC series wins vs. Ole Miss and Wichita St.

USM is 18-5.

They have several starting pitchers hurt/out.

USM is better than they are but Tulane is not as bad as today went.

Pretty pathetic loss. Tulanes pitching staff is in a lot of trouble with all the injuries. Even worse is a 5 game week upcoming.

Tulane is 18-6 and in the top 30.

Their weekend pitchers to begin season
Flynn - IN
Broach - OUT for a few weeks and now back throwing soft toss to the opponents
LeBlanc - OUT FOR YEAR

Then
McKenzie stepped into the weekend spot - OUT FOR YEAR
Byo had stepped up and threw very well - Out for a few weeks now

1 out of their top 5 starting pitchers are healthy and 2 are out with Tommy John surgery.

yikes man, not good to be them - always more interesting when they are a solid club
