Reballing? I read if I reflow it after I buy a new one I can connect them with an Ethernet and transfer. That's all out of my comfort zone though. I'll probably give it a shot once I have my new one.

Yeah im sure you can. the reballing was just another option for fixing your old one. usually you cant do it yourself you gotta send it off.
