If you want to speculate and pick an individual stock you might as well open the WSJ, close your eyes, and then twirl your finger around and whatever it hits closest to is the stock. That is about how much luck you will have picking individual securities.

If I could own only one mutual fund (even though I hate funds) it would be PRPFX. It is well managed and has a consistent track record. Only down 8.3% in 2008 and did well in other downturns as well. Good luck.
