I just finished the 2009 season. Only 3 of his 16 saves were in midweek games. So 13/16 of his saves in 2009 were against quality opponents and more meaningful games. Unfortunately, can't say the same for 2010 and so far in 2011.

I don't think we can find stats that readily available on "blown saves" over his career. I know he had one on Friday night. May have set the tone for the rest of the weekend. Had we won the Friday night opener, that may have lead to another win on Saturday or Sunday...thanks DBG

well, remember in 2009 he didnt get very many opportunities early in the season. Lou Coleman was still being used to close games, he really became the full-time closer right before SEC play started

and he wasnt doing bad in 2010 until that Bama game that he pitched 7 innings..after that he just fell apart
