Look at the landscape of college athletics. Miami and Florida's football programs just hired coaches this off-season. They hired the coach from Temple (Temple has football????) and an assistant coach that's never held a head coaching position.
Slam dunk hires aren't the norm, and when LSU hired Trent Johnson, it looked like a good hire. Now give him a chance to build the program (after winning the SEC title in year 1, let's not forget that).

Johnny Jones whipped his arse with kids at N Tx and Nicholls State beat him too.
I would give him one more year. Another loser than he owes us 3 years of salary refund. SOB has ripped us for 3 million for the crappy job over the last 2 years.
Think anybody wants a 1.5 million a year to be a total loser and bottom dwellar? Hell, high school coaches could fill that void.
