I expect this to be the destruction of Loyola for Tulane's St Charles Ave stadium.

Many people believe it has something to do with a stadium. I'm not so sure about that though, maybe an indoor practice facility.

But I do hope they get an on-campus (or near-campus) stadium. That program desperately needs it.

They are building the on-campus stadium next to the Wilson center (?). This is per my boss today who is a booster.

I think you'd be surprised at the fan interest with an on or near campus stadium, at least before the novelty wore off. The difference for the game at Tad Gormley a few years ago was enormous. At the very least student attendance would go way up.

This. The interest and attendance will spike at least for the inaugural season at the new stadium. After that, I see it falling pretty low again. Not totally sure that the cost is justifiable for a program which has often seen debate on whether or not it should totally get the axe. Don't really care much though as I don't go there.

They said they were considering new playing venue options. No real announcement

It was basically a tease. Said that our athletic focus is now completely on football.
Main thing said was that new playing venues would be explored.
Some bullshite really. Said they should know something in the near future and will announce things as they happen

Soooo, they publicized a press conference to announce nothing?
