I have castigated and villified Greg "Coach Dud" "Dudrawa" Studrawa mercilessly elsewhere.
I have recently had some discussions where I found out that he doesn't necessarily have a whole heckuva lot of autonomy in terms of starting or sitting players, getting younger kids reps, etc.
I also wasn't giving him his due in terms of strategy, as I heard late in the year, he was doing a lot of our offensive game-planning when other folks were, uhm, minimized to a certain degree?
Not saying I believe everything I hear 100%, but I've heard enough to think that Miles may really meddle with the OL Decisions more than I ever realized. Which is quite plausible, given what we know about his background.
I also know for a fact that Studrawa has turned down other opportunities as a coordinator to remain at LSU. So, all in all, we may have protested too much.
In other words, I've heard that some of the decisions to play kids like Hebert, Hitt, and Black weren't always Greg's and Greg's alone.
Which is part of what heavily colored my opinions about him.
