Kevin Martin: Most Underrated player in NBA?

Was a ghost in sac town. Quietly having great seasons with the rockets. This kid is so smooth and quick. He's very impressive and hardly ever is talked about on ESPN.

He is such a "quiet" scorer..and gets a bunch from the charity stripe...but the guy can shoot and also drive to the basket with a great first step. And yes..he's a bit underrated...but if he played in L.A., Boston, Chicago, or New York...more people would know about him.
He also is often M.I.A coming down the stretch of games..not always..but too often for someone who has his scoring ability. He is not really a leader.

He needs help, it's true. I could never see him being the "alpha dog" on a team. He'd probably thrive with a team like New Orleans in its current state (I'm biased, yes I know, but think: Paul/Martin/West...that's dynamic) or another place where he wouldn't have to be the first option every night scoring.

Yeah, he's not a great defender, though he is getting better. Played good D vs NO last night.
He's on pace to be the first player in NBA history to lead the league in FT's and 3-pointers made

like I said...he's a "quiet" scorer...he'll hit some of those "from the chin" 3 pters...get some free throws...and you look up and see the guy has 25 or so pts. It just doesnt seem like he's scoring that much...but he's a very smooth player.

I hate this guy. Even when he was in Scaramento, every time he played the Grizzlies he destroyed them.
He good.

The Kings almost upset the Spurs a few years ago because of Martin FWIW.

kevin martin plays about as much defense as ray allen or d-fisher (who may try hard, but absolutely sucks at defense)

Kevin Love. 46 straight double-doubles? He is absolutely dirty and deserves more praise. He is barely mentioned when people start talking about the best players in the NBA.
