I would dump the 10k raptors for a SSD boot and gaming drive and use your 7200 for data storage. It will make the machine run cooler and quieter and take less power.

I game at 1920 x1080. I know I need to ditch the raptors for a SSD, that is one of my next moves as well. These raptors are old, one has already died on me but WD is so good w/ the warranty I got a new one free.
Do you think going to a Quad would be the right move since my mobo supports them or should I just wait and throw money at a new mobo that supports the new stuff like Intel i3/i5/i7?
I guess like all things it comes down to how much cash I want to throw around lol
