TN showed no class shooting a 3 with no time winning by 17 to make it 20 and hope we crush them next game. They were running and gunning till the end. Summit may be good but looks like an old sourpuss out there

While you might not be a womens basketball fan as an LSU fan you should want to see the university do well no matter the sport IMO.

i concur. i may not be an avid supporter of some of the smaller sports, but i'd prefer LSU be the best in them all

Frankly it's probably a good loss. We'll get left out the tourney and hopefully that will prove to the AD we need a coaching change.

I don't keep up behind the scenes but recuiting seems strong every year incl next group. Guess I'm a little disappointed that this team has not jelled and the taller frosh haven't played

We don't seem to have a standout as we have in the past

Clearly recruiting can't be too strong because we don't have any standouts like we had in the past. Just 1 or 2 players on the team now could have gotten any minutes on Pokey's teams. The big girl they're bringing in this year may be the 1st marquee recruit Van has gotten.

They can't be too good right now since this team is desperate for post help though Plaisance is more of high post player.

How many players go from not playing to dominating in one year? Not many.

We have a non-winning record in SEC play for the 1st time since 98, obviously something is wrong. Talent is way way down.

Nah. Pitching has to get it together before the SEC. I actually like the young hitters like Wray and Heyward hopefully hitting falls into place when Mouse and Applegate get back.

Agree. Seems like we again have highly touted recruits but somehow haven't matched up with good teams hitting us.

The good ole days with girls BBall and Soft with standout performers makes the season flow from men's the women's events while baseball looks very promising this year as we couldn't get out of CA regional last yr casue of pitching...saw those games
