i'd be surprised if the hornets are still in New Orleans in a couple of years. A local guy who can flat score and they cut him loose. CP3 will be next then its over

He didn't fit into the philosophy of the team. Marcus was my favorite Hornet, but it was obvious. The regime change just didn't bode well for him. He's a scorer, they want defenders. It's better to let him play for a team that will cut him loose and let him score than sit on the bench in New Orleans. He also played a position of girth on the Hornets, and they were able to get a damn good player at a position of need in the trade. Plus, he moves to Sacramento from New Orleans. Win.

I just don't see why people want bad things for the Hornets because they traded an LSU player. The Saints have cut plenty of LSU players and nobody proclaims themselves "done" with the Saints. It's kind of silly.
