In your case Lew, I would suggest picking up a signal booster from WalMarks or Best Buy.
Plug it up, try it for a night or two to see if it makes any difference, if not return it. I know Rob got one and it has helped his connection out greatly.

I was thinking about that but then I thought about Schwartz'ing them into getting some free HBO or something.
