Another BLOPS question

My console's team gamer tags were always green with the opposition red. When playing on Saturday, I noticed they were now aqua blue, with the opposition orange.
I asked the kids what they did, and they said it started when they joined a friend's party or private match.
Do any of you know how to fix this?
BTW, I purchased a 37" to replace the 26" TV I had been playing on. The old one was on AV, and the new one is now HDMI. Since we played mostly with two gamers, this has made a huge difference in K/D ratio. Hard to tell how much of a difference for me, because I play on my kids' accounts, but probably from about .9 to 1.5.

Go to options at the main menu or in game, its under player (indicator?) name display I think

They are green and red on my HDTV too...maybe they got into a modded game/lobby.

its some color blind option you can change, I did it for 1 game and it was terrible.

Oh really? I haven't seen that option, but then again, I haven't really messed with the options. The only think I have changed is that it automatically loads to the multiplayer screen when I turn it on so I don't have to go through the "chair" screen anymore

its where you can choose how it displays other plyers names.
I think the options are like full name, abbrev. name, full name and rank, etc.

is he not just talking about how usually the names are green but when someone is in your party they are blue? i dont know about the opposition being a different color (thats probably you just trying to convince yourself that it changed too)
