did he redshirt in '10 ? Regardless what does the future at LSU hold for him ? Do coaches see him playing any particular position or key role in '11 ?

I've almost started this thread before.

Probably just special teams. Too many good upperclassmen ahead of him at Safety(which is where he's still at, I guess). It's probably gonna be '12 or '13 before he becomes a major contributor.

I saw him listed as a wr in a breakdown of our roster n 1 of the articles leading up 2 signing day. I thought he'd been at db since arriving at lsu. I think hes 6'2 so its possible. Anyone know for sure?

Got the pleasure of watching his team knock my school's out in the semifinals my senior year. Close game that was a defensive battle. They ran a punt back for a TD in the final minutes to go ahead and our QB threw an INT near the endzone to end our hopes. Heartbreaking loss...Prattville HS is pure evil.
With that said, I hope he contributes to LSU and is quite successful. He had very little to do with us losing.

Didn't he play QB in high school?

He was redshirted and was moved to WR either before last season or early in it.

I think he was underrated out of HS because he was forced to play QB, which he was terrible at
I don't see a future for him as a DB, we just have too many good, young DB's for him compete with, and he's already a step behind. I always thought he looked like a WR, so hopefully he can make a move their, we're pretty young there.
If he doesn't contribute at a position, the world always needs special teams players too,
