That makes alot more sense. I did play the first but I had the game save on a flash drive which got destroyed and I damn sure was not going to restart from the beginning. I guess I'm disappointed because I do not fully understand the story and they leave so many questions unanswered. So I'm assuming there will be a dead space 3 that will be full of awesome lol.

The ending story probably would have made more sense to me if i played through the first dead space, but i never finished it. The controls for it on PC were horrible, so got tired of fighting with it.
