Is it worth it to keep going? I feel like sometimes the show is predictable.

If you haven't liked it so far then no.
Personally, I think it is one of the best shows of the genre ever.
All Fringe is is a poor mans X-Files.
It does get more than a tad frustrating that Scully is always skeptical of everything and comes up with bullshite answers for things even when she sees a tree burst from a person's chest, grow 20 feet high and then have alien babies drop like fruit from the tree.
That is especially annoying when doing a marathon.
I would give it a few more episodes and if you don't love it by that point then the X-files is not for you.

I was never a fan of the shows overarching mythology with the whole alien conspiracy thing, but I loved the "monster of the week" episodes.

One of my favorite shows, I've been going back through reruns on Netflix streaming.
You can't expect every episode to be terrific, but most of them are great. Some of the subplots are really great.
It's still an interesting show even when Robert Patrick replaces David Duchovny, though it obviously didn't last long after that.
