Agreed. You don't lose the best corner in program history and improve that position. However, I do think the sum of the parts, regarding the secondary, will at least cover up most of the loss of the truly great PP. More quality depth next year at all three levels hopefully will balance out the 4 starters lost.
There is no Nevis, but the combo of Freak and Brockers could equal the combo of Nevis and Pep IMO. The knowledgable Shep is gone at LB but the most athletic LB we've seen at LSU in years(Baker)is set to have a monster Sr. campaign. Francois may not hold his starting slot either with Barrow, Maclin, Jones, and Welter pushing hard for time. The biggest holes to fill IMO are on ST. Kicker, punter, return men.
