i was melting down too. I had already conceded that we were going to probably lose. That sequence triggered such a wild ride of emotions, im not sure I've ever felt that way at any other point in my life.

Yea I was in "same old saints" and was just depressed. Even with Favre's history that int just seemed so unlikely. I remember not even wanting to go out and party that night, just wanted to go home and soak up as much coverage and highlights as possible to make sure that really happened

To me that W was more satisfying than the actual super bowl.

it was insane. It was the most miserable I've ever been at a football game. I will always remember the relief that rushed through whenever the kick went through. Those emotions combined with the alcohol made for an experience that I doubt will ever be matched
