Focus your attention on buying the duck gun that will suit you. On your best days as a turkey hunter you'll typically shoot 3-4 shells in a season. On a good day in the blind you'll do that within the first few minutes of shooting time.

The point being, you need to buy the gun which best suits you for wingshooting as you'll spend far more time shooting ducks. Any shotgun can easily be fitted into a turkey gun with the addition of the proper choke and/or sites...

I shoot a Browning, always have and always will. Any of the 3 B's will shoot great, find the one that fits you. Shooting 3.5" shells for turkey is overkill in my opinion. I've killed dozens of toms and have been lethal to 45 yds with 3" shells. I dont find 3.5"s much more helpful for ducks either, but will admit the 3.5 has its place for shooting geese..
