They use their smarts and adaptability to counter the cold by wearing multiple layers of clothing which keeps them warmer, thus raising their level of play.

White dudes are just generally a little more crazy and less likely to admit weakness or pain. It's ingrained in us at an early age if we play athletics because it's one of the few things we can capitalize on and be better at. In bad situations we take pride i.e. playing in extreme conditions or through an injury or something. They may run faster and jump higher but we can take hits better, play through more pain and constantly have our motors running. lolz.
