Hence, I root for other SEC teams to win bowl games so that the SEC is considered to be the best conference in America. In the NFL, there is no polling. Playoff seeding is determined by records and division championships. Super Bowls are determined by a playoff system. Hence, there is zero advantage in rooting for your mortal enemy.


exactly. also, sec tradition is obviously a lot richer than a day-before-yesterday commercial football conference. i could give two fricks about the three other teams. why should i care about them?
