to not hire him because of the 3-4 year limit "possibility", shows me that someone has never run a business...at least not well.

there are no guarantees of time WITH ANY HIRE.
Also, the more assistants that move up the more favorable LSU assistant jobs will be viewed.

Agreed. Talent on the sidelines and in the coaches box upstairs is every bit as important as that on the field. If no one ever wants to steal your guys they probably aren't producing top shelf results. Les proved he adheres to this concept by bringing in guys like Gonzo and Frank, knowing full-well they will eventually be courted by other programs.
