It's just a complete guess, but seeing that one coach has been there 13 seasons and one has been there like three, I tend to think the one that's been there three has more control.
It seems like if he trusted the one guy thats been there 13 years to run the offense, he wouldn't need co-offensive coordinators. Like I said, I may be way off, but it seems like the one was rewarded for loyalty and got the title bump while the other would be the driving force behind the offense.
