Anybody know anything about him?

You wanted us to look at a video of his team photo?

Would love to have that kid. He looks like he is still developing though. Would be a good candidate to come in and greyshirt and get Moffitted.

I've said before that we should take him as a grey shirt. If I were Hudspeth at ULL I'd recruiting the hell out of this kid. Whoever gets him is going to get a good one IMO.

He's got the height that we don't have right now with any of our receivers. A few more pounds and a little coaching, who knows, he might become a dominant receiver.

I've seen him several times. Has all the physical tools but very, very raw as a WR...will make the occasional great catch then drop an easy one...I would be all for a greyshirt but patience will be required.

thanks Informer.. there is barely any film of him on rivals.. do you regularly watch franklinton play?

I heard that he's visiting Tulane this weekend, so he must have decent grades.

I live in Franklinton and have watched Chris nearly every game of his career. The post above is dead on. I will add that Chris was clutch for us this year. His numerous clutch catches on 3rd and 4th down especially against Salmen were big time.

According to Rivals, he is 6'4" and 185 lbs and Scout has him at 6'5" and 191 lbs.
That's pretty skinny, but Brandon LaFell was 6'3" and 180 lbs.
At that size, I wonder if he could bulk up and play TE?

This guy is a tall, dynamic reciever with very good hands. He can run very clean and crisp routes, and always seem to find himself open. He has decent speed, but I think if he could be into a good program like LSU that could be fixed. He has all the tools to make a huge name for himself. I just hope LSU gets him and don't let that talent get away from them.

I usually see them once or twice per year...saw them three times this year counting playoffs.

I hope he will agree to gray shirt in this class. He is the big receiver this class is lacking. Since next year will be more down in state than this year, I say we grab all we can this year and add them in 2012. Would like to see TK Fleming accept a gray shirt or track scholie this year too.

I talked to someone in recruiting tonight that thinks he is the real deal. Don't know about grades, but he thinks he is headed to LSU,

I don't see it...
We could just go with Jermaine Johnson if we wanted a "project" receiver...

6'5" 190>6'3" 170
They want a big bodied WR, apparently they think Briggs can fill out better and they see something in him that they don't in Johnson.

Briggs is a little bigger, but not much...
I think Johnson is raw as well, but have not seen enough footage of Briggs to compare.
But as always I will trust the coaches...
