Honestly the use of some legal and certainly many of the illegal performance enhancing drugs can cause both loss of fluids and shifts in fluid distribution in the body. Certain foods and combinations of foods also affect fluid balance. Many colligate and professional athletes consult sports nutrionists to assist with their diet and performance. If LSU really wanted to get the most out of their athletes they would add a clinical sports nutrionist to their staff.

Supposedly Our Backup candidate is FIU's S & C, who was a UT football player.

Just thought I would add a little bit to the conversation:

1) This has NOTHING to do with Les Miles and the thought that he might have left. Moffitt is hired by the AD and serves as the strength and conditioning coach for all LSU sports programs. Granted he does not spend near as much time with the others as he does football. I say that to say this, Moffitt was not worried about losing his job here because it would not have been up to the new football coach had we gotten one, plus what new football coach would have fired the best S and C coach in the country. So with that being said we should be extremely concerned with him interviewing up there.

2) I know this is Tigerdroppings where everyone worries about money and how hot their wife is, but not all people in the real world think that way. Money is not his only motivation. In no way do i think he would turn down more money if someone offered it and it was best for him and his family, but he is not using UT to play LSU nor the other way around. If he decides that UT will be better for him and his family he will be go, but not because LSU is not willing to match any offers from other schools.
