It's stupid to guarantee that much to a coach that hasn't won his division in 3 years. I'd be fine with Miles getting a 5 year contract at his current salary with it guaranteed, thus his original $18.75M buyout. To essentially guarantee him another $7.5 Million on top of that is utter pathetic.
This is based on belowpar's posts on the coaching board too.
Les could go 0-12 next year and he's still guaranteed basically $22.5 million dollars.
