Coaches on any level are judged, among other ways, by their so-called coaching tree. Sid's is pretty impressive:
David Brewerton HC Livonia
Guy Mistretta HC Dunham
Guy Blanchard HC Port Allen
Neil Weiner HC Zachary
David Dykes HC Walker
Joey Sanchez AD Zachary
Doug Dotson HC Central
There are others but these, with the exception of Dykes all coached at him at RHS and/or played for him at Catholic. Although Mistretta, Dotson, and Weiner are sons of great HS coaches, they were tutored-as asst coaches-under Coach Edwards.

That list is pretty funny. Dykes is the head coach at Live Oak by the way. Some of these coaches aren't all that. On the other hand some of them are great coaches! Also Dotson did not coach with him at Redemptorist. Make sure you have your facts straight before you post on line!
