It has been many years since UM has been able to come into Louisiana and get choice talent. But when they did, they got some good ones, i.e. Anthony Thomas. Now that Les has been here in the South for a few years, he has been able to meet a lot of the coaches and some of the up and coming players and build a good reputation among the same.
Now he can go back to UM and have a solid recruiting base from which to build for the next several years. I'm not saying he primarily loads Michigan with players from the South, but he will be able to pull a few key players back up with him and rebuild UM back to its once proud heritage.
I really don't believe all this, but I didn't have anything else to do while I'm waiting for the kick-off.
