Many questions remain unanswered in the Les Miles to Michigan watch. But one question has been answered. The Michigan plane arriving in Baton Rouge was a coincidence after all. It turns out a couple made a trip to Savannah, Georgia to attend to structural damage on a house. The man used Delta Private Jets to book his flight.
Michigan alum Richard Rogel owns the jet but leases it out to Delta when he is not using it. The plane departed Friday morning from Baton Rouge and returned on Sunday afternoon at 2:11 pm.
The man spoke on the condition of anonymity as this has become a national story.
Les Miles spoke to reporters earlier today at a Patrick Peterson press conference. He confirmed that he will speak to Michigan regarding their head coaching vacancy. Miles is scheduled to speak in Dallas on Tuesday at the American Football Coaches Association conference.
