Is this bad timing if/when Miles leave?

Most of the time these things try to work themselves out before the end of December. Now that we are looking at the second week of January, NSD is Feb 2nd right? Spring practice is not that far away. Looking for a new coach now that has to come in, relocate, set his staff, get acclimated.... to me just seems that it will be negative for the 2011 season when everything was setting up nicely.
