In basketball, the coaching gigs are Duke and UNC and that is it. ALOT of programs on the doorstep, but those two jobs are elite.

JMO - that's nonsense
Coach K is Duke basketball and Dean Smith was NC basketball
Kentucky has won with more different coaches and UCLA has won more period
There are a lot of blue-blood coaching jobs in basketball and football... which one you want depends on not just the innate advantages of the programs but also the personal history of the coach (where he grew up and went to school for example)
