Oregon can be a second half team but if they get down by even 10 in the first half you can count them out. AU will score 40 or more in this one.

Don't forget that Auburn's had their fair share of come from behind wins too. Oregon's offense might be too potent for the Tigers to stage another comeback if they fall behind early.

Yeah I suppose you could say either team could be in a lot of trouble if they get down 10 or more early because you might not be able to stop the other team.

The problem with AU is they don't need to throw the ball to score 50 on you. They just run right over you.

Do you think it will be as high scoring as most people are anticipating? I know both teams play extremely fast and all that, but I could see both teams making a few stops on the defensive side.

I see some stops and a turnover by each side, hopefully two for Auburn. I am guessing 37-34, winning score could be for either team.

My only hesitation is that last year all I heard was how Oregon would run up and down the field on OSU. How OSU would be lucky if Oregon "only" scored 35 points. And they scored like 16?

I think Fairley is going to have a field day and if the Auburn D-Line can get going then Oregon won't score over 24 or so.

The defensive secondaries in the Pac 10 suck. Auburn will be just as good in the secondary as what Oregon has competed against for most of the season

They passed really well on those pac ten defenses.

I don't either but it will be a collective effort.

What do you call LaMichael James, the top RB vote-getter for the Heisman this season? Both teams rely on running the football to win more than passing it.

OSU's defense>AU defense, especially in the secondary. Don't forget little guy Masoli not being able to see over the line.

Also, this Oregon team>that Oregon team.

eta....I think Oregon's experience from last year is what wins them the game. I do however think either team can win it. Feel bad for Oregon having to play against a big freaking QB. Without him AU is playing in a shite bowl. This honestly is a HUGE challenge for Oregon.

Oregon is going to win it all.

PS: I am sick of this SEC brotherhood shite whenever a SEC team makes the national title game. I am not cheering for Auburn because they are from our conference just like I didn't like seeing Alabama fans cheer us on because we were in the title game.

I think last year's rose bowl and this year's SECCG are a wash as far as big game preperation advantage...

This Auburn team is relaxed and focused... I don't think this is a great matchup for us (would prefer a more traditional offense) but we'll be fine.
