I hear a lot of y'all saying he can't recruit... where do you get this impression? i'm just curious. Honestly, the assistant coaches do the majority of the recruiting, with the head coach coming in at the end to close the deal. Where do y'all get the impression that he is so bad at this?

Defenses were soft in 07.
Hasn't really done anything at Nebraska.
and we can hire better coaches.
We are LSU. TWO MNCs in last 8 years. TWO. Just LSU and Florida can say that.
That means you hire the best damn coach you can get, not someone in the family or someone who's been here. For his extensive resume, where has Pelini distinguished himself at Nebraska?

Seriously look at his recruiting record and you tell me. I am not saying he is a terrible hire but I think we can do alot better. He would be maybe 3 or 4 on my list. Just something scares me with pelini.
