Miles is using LSU and Michigan.

Exactly what he should be doing. Leveraging UM job for a better contract which wasn't rolled over the last 2 years. The only difference is LSU gets what they want in return and Michigan gets turned down by another Michigan man. Les stays. But they do create the illusion of due diligence knowing all along it would be Hoke.

Just like 2007, Les EARNED it this year. It wasn't easy and he kept his composure, kept the team focused, and EARNED it.

This is most likely. Too much to gain by staying in BR, but why not leverage a better deal?

Les doesn't need any extension or raise. He earned his current contract this year, nothing more.
Come back next year if he wins something meaningful and you can talk about extensions and/or raises
