about 40 years ago, when hunting in Avoyelles Parish in a swamp behind Bordelonville, in the area that is now called the Grand Lake WMA, I saw a 6 legged deer that had been killed. Had 2 extra legs coming up out of its back, really weird looking. It was featured the next week in the Alexandria Town Talk. Wish I still had that article.

This deer was taken to a taxidermist in kolin, la. The guy that killed was apparently a drunk and he wanted a gun rack made out of the legs. The taxidermist traded him another mount for the whole deer and did a full body mount. The taxidermist was a buddy of mine and he had the article on the wall of his shop as well as a drawing of the deer. It was really cool.
