What about Pelini, Fitzgerald, Hoke, Sumlin, Tuberville, Petersen... anyone else in line for a head coaching job at some point has a better shot than Chavis.

Why in the hell would LSU hire Fitzgerald, Sumlin or Tubberville?
It's getting too late in the game. If something doesn't break soon I don't think LSU will have a lot of choices. I doubt Miles leaves anyway.

Pelini isnt leaving Nebraska, Fitz isnt leaving his dream job... and the rest, if you want them take them, they are three steps down from where you are at right now.
